Thank you for participating in the University Business Forum!

#UBF2023 was celebrated yesterday among 150 participants. The day was filled with interesting discussions, insightful ideas and much more!

The day started with the welcoming words of Arto Maaninen, Vice Rector of the University of Oulu. After that, we were happy to hear the story of Ponsse told by the event’s keynote speaker Juha Vidgrén.

In addition, representatives from seven Finnish leading companies that have received funding from Business Finland participated in the panel discussion. They saw, among other things, cooperation, trust and open communication as elements that move their ecosystems forward – but everyone also saw challenges in implementing them.

Representatives from Business Finland (Arto Pussinen), Bittium (Jari Partanen), Valmet (Virpi Puhakka), Mirka (Charlotta Risku), Orion Pharma (Timo Korjamo), Danfoss (Laura Frisk) and Nokia (Olli Liinamaa) participated in the panel discussion.

After the main session, participants joined the thematic sessions to discuss the ecosystems of the leading companies, sustainable fashion, artificial intelligence and the diversity of working life in the future. Judging from the tone of the conversations, the contents of the sessions were inspiring!
