University Business Forum is now organized for the 5th time, and about 120 participants have already registered for the event! Come and join the event designed for networking and meeting representatives of companies and other organizations.

UBF2023 is organized on Thursday, 12 October from 8.30 am to 1 pm at the University of Oulu, Linnanmaa campus, Saalastinsali. This year the theme of the event is "Future proofing and future boosting", which highlights our collective opportunities for change and impact.

The event is divided into a main session and four thematic sessions. These are:

Session 1: Toward collaboration possibilities with 7 leading and challenger companies

  • Get to know 7 leading company and challenger company ecosystems. Short introductions of BF-funded ecosystems and lots of networking with experts.

  • Bittium, Danfoss, Konecranes, Mirka, Nokia, Orion Pharma and Valmet

Session 2: The future of fashion is circular: how to collaborate and innovate for a sustainable industry

  • Managers, leaders, consumers and researchers all aspire to a prompt transition to sustainable fashion. Join the workshop to discuss possibilities for less struggle and more progress.

Session 3: Exploring AI: a hero or a supervillain

  • Join the discussion about possibilities and challenges of AI in business.

Session 4: Future potential unlocked – school-industry cooperation to diversify career choices

  • How can we help students see more choices? How can diversity be supported? Presentations and discussion organized by KoKiVa-project. Read more on Duuniskooppi’s page
