Research to Business funding is coming – Innovation Centre is here to help you!
First info session about Autumn 2022 Business Finland Research to Business (R2B) funding was held at the University Innovation Centre on Wednesday 18th of May. The prerequisites for applying funding and the services provided by the Innovation Centre were informed in the event.
Research to Business funding is intended for public research organizations for projects in which research groups aim to develop their research into new business and to commercialize their research results.
You can apply for R2B funding when your team believes that your idea has commercial potential, and the targeted business has the prerequisites to succeed.
Janne Haverinen, Niina Karvinen and Markku Känsäkoski from the Innovation Centre team help applicants to turn their idea into a business and find potential target markets and customers. The protection of an idea, for example by patent, is also part of the expertise of Innovation Centre team.
The deadline for the next Business Finland R2B funding search is in September 2022. The final application date will be announced soon.
If you missed the first info session, the next one will take place on Wednesday 25th of May from 9-10 am at the Innovation Centre or remotely in Teams.
On Thursday 1st of June at 9-11 am the Innovation Centre team arranges the pre-kick off event for teams planning to apply for R2B funding.
