The IPR training calendar has been published

Our Spring 2024 IPR training calendar has been published. Seize the opportunity by participating in our spring training sessions and learn to manage intellectual property rights (IPR) matters.

Intellectual property rights (IPR) may seem distant in the university environment, but in reality, we deal with them every day.

Each of us produces and utilizes copyrighted works, such as computer programs, images, databases, and texts. Additionally, in research, inventions are created that may be patentable and serve as a catalyst for new business ventures.

We offer both concise webinars and more extensive, credit-rated courses.

Our InnoWebinars are open to everyone, while credit-rated courses are intended for both the staff and students of the University of Oulu, as well as students from other higher education institutions.

The next InnoWebinar

The first InnoWebinar of this year will cover software and copyright, with Suvi Julin from Berggren Oy providing insights. The webinar will be held in Finnish on January 17, 2024, from 10-11 AM and in English on January 31, 2024, from 3-4 PM.
