Intellectual property rights (IPR) may seem distant in the university world, but in reality, we deal with them daily. Each of us produces and utilizes works protected by copyright, such as computer programs, images, databases, and texts. Additionally, in the realm of research, inventions are born that may be patentable and serve as the catalyst for new business ventures.
