InnoVisitor is a networking event for researchers and stakeholders. Interesting guests, new information and networking by the theme "from research to innovation".
Come and listen, how research results can produce new business. What does it mean? How do you co-operate with companies?
The event is held in Innovation Centre's Olohuone (some snacks included!). There is also a possibility to remote participation.
No preregistration.
Visitor is Professor Andrew J. Bell
October’s InnoVisitor is Andrew J. Bell, who is Professor of Electronic Materials at the University of Leeds, School of Chemical and Process.
His presentation will tell the story of how a curiosity-driven, ferroelectric materials research topic developed into a $2 million p.a. business, manufacturing industrial ultrasound transducers for use under extreme conditions. The device company now has products in the industrial ultrasound, automotive, aerospace and electronics sectors.
Come and hear what stages Bell's and the research team's journey in the world of commercializing research has included.
