22.8. Finnish Maritime Cluster’s Meyer Turku and Wärtsilä visit Oulu

Meyer Turku and Wärtsilä from the Finnish Maritime Cluster, will visit the University of Oulu on 22 August. During the day, we will hear about the activities of Meyer Turku Shipyard and Wärtsilä's Business Finland-funded leading company projects, maritime industry activities and cooperation opportunities for SMEs and RDI partners. During the event, it will be possible to arrange B2B meetings with business representatives and other Oulu Innovation Alliance actors involved in the event.

Meyer Turku Shipyard will present the activities of the Business Finland-funded leading company project and the cooperation opportunities offered by the shipyard. Meyer Turku's NEcOLEAP programme develops carbon-neutral and sustainable technological solutions for cruise ships through an extensive network of partners. Kenneth Widel, Head of Wärtsilä's Zero Emission Marine programme, presents the Zero Emission Marine (ZEM) Business Finland-funded leading company project and related business cooperation opportunities.
