4.2. Companies from Kanta-Häme meet researchers at the Linnanmaa campus

On February 4th, businesses from Kanta-Häme will gather at the Linnanmaa campus to meet with researchers from the University of Oulu. The event is part of a regional rahoitusagentti project designed to foster connections between research-driven SMEs and research organizations. Several potential areas of collaboration between Kanta-Häme businesses and the university have already been identified, and the visit aims to align these companies' needs with the expertise available at the university. An estimated 15 companies are expected to participate.

"This is a completely new operating model for us in Kanta-Häme — and perhaps even for the whole of Finland. The goal is to establish a permanent framework and service for our economic development organizations. Both businesses and research institutions benefit from saved time in partner searches, allowing them to focus on their core activities. We hope this leads to mutually beneficial collaborations that spark competitiveness, innovation, and opportunities for internationalization and business growth", explains Anne Tasaranta from Forssan Yrityskehitys Oy.
